Role overview

The Human Resources Manager will lead core HR operations and help drive the company’s people strategy. This position covers day-to-day HR leadership across hiring, employee relations, policy creation, and compliance. The role is centered on building a healthy workplace culture, ensuring alignment with legal requirements, and supporting business goals through effective talent practices and employee engagement. It calls for a strategic, people-oriented professional who can balance immediate operational needs with long-term workforce planning.

Qualifications

Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution, or bring at least 5 years of relevant experience along with specialized HR training. Credentials such as PHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP are strongly preferred and reflect continued professional development. Strong command of Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, is required, and experience with HRIS platforms such as ADP Workforce Now is an advantage. The ideal applicant will have excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, along with clear communication, strong interpersonal skills, and a detail-focused approach. Success in this role also depends on the ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-moving setting.

Responsibilities

This role is responsible for building and applying HR policies that support company goals and comply with legal standards. The manager will direct recruitment efforts to attract and retain high-quality talent, while also supporting succession planning initiatives. A key part of the job is reviewing HR data, preparing reports, and advising senior leadership with actionable recommendations. The position also involves managing training, development, performance review processes, and employee benefit programs to help maintain a capable and engaged workforce.

Additional duties include handling employee relations activities such as onboarding, counseling, recognition, and resolution of workplace concerns. The HR Manager will work with outside legal advisors to manage work and visitor visas and maintain immigration compliance. The role further includes overseeing HR budgets, negotiating with vendors for employee-related services, supervising HR staff, and continually identifying improvements that strengthen organizational performance.
