About the role
This is a contract Service Desk Analyst opportunity based in Pensacola, Florida, with a hybrid setup that blends remote and on-site work. The role centers on providing first-level technical assistance to end users, helping keep IT services running smoothly, and ensuring a positive support experience. The position offers an hourly pay range of $25.00 to $29.89, depending on experience and qualifications.
What you'll do
You will handle incoming support requests by phone, email, and web-based queues, troubleshoot technical problems, and use available resources to resolve issues efficiently. The role also includes recording and tracking support activity, escalating issues outside your scope, and contributing to routine operational and project work.
Qualifications and working style
Applicants should have a strong grasp of IT basics, good troubleshooting ability, and familiarity with enterprise systems and IT language. The ideal candidate brings around three years of Tier 1 support or comparable customer support experience, preferably with exposure to call center or front-line support environments. Strong written and spoken communication, sound time management, and the ability to work independently or in a team are important. Experience with ITIL concepts and ticketing tools such as ServiceNow is preferred.
