Job description
About the company
Memorial Healthcare System is a respected community healthcare provider focused on delivering high-quality care that centers on patients and families. The organization is built around compassion, innovation, and excellence, and it aims to create a workplace where employees are supported to make a real difference in the lives of the people they serve. Its culture emphasizes collaboration, professional development, and a shared commitment to improving health outcomes across the community. By combining advanced technology with caring service, the organization continues to raise the standard of healthcare delivery for a diverse patient population.
About the role
This position is for an experienced HR professional who can contribute in a strategic and advisory capacity. The role calls for someone who can examine complex data, make sense of dashboards and reports, and turn that information into practical insights for business decisions. The successful candidate will help shape HR strategy, support compliance with employment legislation, and build strong relationships with key stakeholders. The opportunity is well suited to a self-directed professional with strong analytical thinking, clear communication, and the ability to operate with limited supervision.
Key responsibilities
You will develop and put into action HR strategies that support business goals, while using HR data and reporting to guide decisions. The role includes acting as a trusted partner to managers and employees on matters such as employment law, employee relations, and organizational development. You will also work across departments to strengthen communication, manage stakeholder relationships, and help resolve workplace issues. In addition, you will support talent acquisition, onboarding, and retention efforts, track HR metrics, perform workforce analysis, and recommend process improvements. The work environment is fast-paced and requires the ability to manage several priorities with professionalism and good judgment.
Qualifications
Candidates should bring at least 3 years of experience in Human Resources or a related area, ideally with strategic or consultative exposure. A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a closely related field is required, and a master’s degree would be an added advantage. Professional certifications such as SPHR or SHRM-SCP are preferred. A strong grasp of employment law, HR analytics, and stakeholder management is important, along with excellent interpersonal skills, business understanding, and the confidence to perform well in high-pressure situations.
Benefits
The organization provides a well-rounded benefits package that supports both personal well-being and career development. Offerings include a competitive salary, health insurance, retirement savings options, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth. Employees also have access to assistance programs, wellness initiatives, and a supportive workplace that encourages balance between work and personal life.
Equal opportunity
Memorial Healthcare System is committed to fair and inclusive hiring. Employment decisions are made without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or any other protected category. Candidates from all backgrounds who meet the qualifications are encouraged to be considered equally.
