Role overview
We are looking for a seasoned HR Manager who can lead core people operations and shape a strong people strategy across the company. This position suits someone at mid-level to senior management level who can balance day-to-day HR delivery with longer-term organizational planning. The role spans recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and organizational development, all aimed at supporting business growth and a healthy workplace culture.
Key responsibilities
- Create and roll out HR policies, processes, and practices that support business goals.
- Manage the full hiring cycle, from sourcing and selection through to onboarding.
- Handle employee relations matters, including disputes, corrective actions, and workplace concerns.
- Run performance management activities such as appraisals, KPI tracking, and development planning.
- Coordinate compensation, benefits, payroll-related processes, and recognition or reward programs.
- Keep the organization compliant with labor legislation, employment rules, and internal standards.
- Support employee engagement, retention efforts, and initiatives that strengthen company culture.
- Contribute to workforce planning, succession planning, and broader organizational development efforts.
- Review HR data and metrics to help leadership make informed decisions.
- Oversee learning and development programs that build employee capability.
- Work with HR technologies including HRIS, ATS, and other digital HR tools.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to ensure the people agenda is aligned with business priorities.
Requirements
- Solid background in HR management, HR generalist work, or HR business partnering.
- Good understanding of employment laws, HR policies, and standard HR practices.
- Hands-on experience in hiring, employee relations, performance management, and compensation planning.
- Strong leadership, communication, and people skills.
- Ability to solve problems effectively and manage conflict professionally.
- Comfort with handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Exposure to HR systems such as HRIS, ATS, and payroll platforms is beneficial.
- Excellent organization and multitasking skills in a fast-moving environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a similar field is preferred.
- Professional HR credentials such as SHRM or CIPD are an added advantage.
