About the Role
We seek a proactive and hands-on HR Business Partner to directly support our engineering and manufacturing operations based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This position goes beyond typical corporate duties, embedding you within operational teams at the shop floor level to implement practical HR solutions. The ideal candidate balances strategic workforce planning with the agility to act swiftly in a dynamic industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with operational leaders to synchronize workforce planning with engineering and production needs.
- Oversee daily HR functions such as employee relations, overseeing performance management, and handling reward systems.
- Coordinate manpower deployment ensuring optimal skill sets are positioned appropriately.
- Guide performance management processes fostering transparency, fairness, and aligning with corporate objectives.
- Support and manage reward and compensation packages tailored for industrial workforce competitiveness.
- Serve as a trusted consultant for employee relations within a sensitive and high-stakes context.
- Spearhead organizational change and restructures focusing on effective communication and minimizing operational impact.
- Ensure strict adherence to UAE labor legislation in all HR practices.
Desired Profile
- Background in manufacturing, engineering, defense, or closely related industrial sectors.
- A strategic thinker capable of contributing to workforce planning and organizational development, yet comfortable with hands-on operational engagement in factory or workshop settings.
- Minimum of three to five years of progressive experience as an HR Business Partner supporting technical or operational teams.
- Well-versed in manpower planning, performance management, HR operations, and compensation frameworks.
Educational and Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree mandatory; Master’s degree in Human Resources or Employment Law preferred.
- Certifications such as SHRM, CIPD, or their equivalents are advantageous.
- Comprehensive knowledge of UAE labor laws and regulatory requirements.
