Role Overview
This position represents a strategic partner role serving as an advisor to leadership in aligning human resource strategies with the organization's priorities and goals. It encompasses influencing organizational culture, enhancing employee experiences, and overseeing impactful people-focused initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor to leadership teams by designing and implementing people strategies aligned with business goals.
- Collaborate with leaders to identify organizational workforce needs and deliver solutions spanning talent management, performance enhancement, employee engagement, and staffing plans.
- Lead programs targeting employee engagement, organizational culture, effectiveness, and change initiatives.
- Manage performance evaluation processes, develop talent initiatives, and succession planning.
- Offer guidance on complex employee relations issues ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Ensure equitable and consistent application of HR practices across departments.
- Lead, coach, and mentor HR team members to foster growth and operational excellence.
- Utilize data-driven insights to monitor people trends, spot opportunities, and guide strategy decisions.
- Coordinate multiple projects ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Continuously improve HR systems, processes, and programs.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- Two to five years of advancing HR management experience including strategic partnership roles.
- At least two years of experience supervising or mentoring HR professionals.
- Strong understanding of federal and state employment regulations, compliance mandates, and HR best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to support talent management, performance frameworks, employee relations, and organizational development.
- Excellent skills in communicating, consulting, and building relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to juggle competing demands, work autonomously, and excel in fast-moving environments.
- Proficiency in analytical tools including Excel, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace.
- Adaptability and resourcefulness in navigating change within organizations.
- Preferred credentials include SPHR or SHRM-SCP certifications.
- Experience in early childhood education, Head Start programs, or mission-oriented organizations is a plus.
