Position Overview

The Housing Capital Strategist plays a critical role in centralizing operational coordination and oversight of housing construction and operational projects. This position ensures projects align with institutional goals and are delivered punctually and within scope. The strategist anticipates risks, manages communication among stakeholders, and drives process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and project accountability. Reporting to the Assistant Vice President of Housing, this role impacts the long-term success and sustainability of housing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze housing workflows, systems, and performance metrics to identify inefficiencies and risks impacting outcomes.
• Oversee housing construction and capital projects, monitor progress and address risks to maintain schedules.
• Manage centralized intake and prioritization of housing initiatives, ensuring coordinated execution.
• Serve as a liaison among internal departments and external partners to facilitate communication and alignment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of organizational mission, goals, and project management principles.
• Strong ability to prioritize work, plan effectively, and implement changes to improve systems.
• Experience in guiding teams, interpreting regulations, and preparing presentations and reports.
• Essential personnel status during emergencies, requiring availability in such situations.

Preferred Experience

• Master's degree with at least five years of project management experience, including programming, design, and project oversight.
• Familiarity with process improvement methods like Lean or Six Sigma.
• Experience creating dashboards, reports, and tracking systems.
• Proficiency with data analytics tools and strategic project integration.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in diverse environments with strong communication skills.
• Capacity to lead project teams through all project stages and flexibility to work outside typical hours.

Additional Information
