Its European Healthcare practice is a strategic priority and continues to benefit from robust deal activity supported by sector momentum and long-standing client relationships.
The London team is seeking a highly driven Analyst or Associate who is analytical, motivated, and eager to develop deep expertise in healthcare.
Why join Jefferies
- Work with a leading healthcare franchise spanning M&A, ECM, and leveraged finance.
- Gain meaningful client contact and responsibility from the outset.
- Be part of compact deal teams where junior bankers can make a visible contribution.
- Join a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment where strong performance is valued.
- Benefit from a strong focus on training, mentorship, and long-term career development.
What you will do
You will partner with senior bankers on live mandates and pitch work, helping deliver strategic advice and capital markets execution for healthcare clients in Europe and internationally.
- Build financial models and perform valuations, including DCF, trading comparables, precedent transaction analysis, and LBO analysis.
- Develop pitch decks, client presentations, and transaction materials.
- Support the execution of M&A, equity, and financing transactions.
- Carry out detailed company and sector research across healthcare sub-sectors.
- Coordinate due diligence and work closely with internal teams and external counterparties.

Candidate profile
Analyst level: Candidates should have 1 to 3 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or a closely related role, along with strong modelling and analytical capability. A genuine interest in healthcare and life sciences is important, as is excellent attention to detail and the ability to juggle several workstreams at once.
Associate level: Candidates should bring 3 to 6+ years of experience, ideally with investment banking training, plus a track record of executing M&A and/or capital markets transactions. The role also calls for the ability to lead workstreams independently, support junior colleagues, and demonstrate sound commercial judgment and client-facing confidence.
Skills and attributes
- Strong academic credentials
- High resilience and a strong work ethic in a fast-moving setting
- Clear communication skills and polished written English
- Collaborative, ownership-oriented approach
- Intellectual curiosity and real interest in the healthcare sector
