Healthcare Assistant – Opportunities Across Ireland

Role Overview

Kats Recruitment is looking for committed Healthcare Assistants to work with established private healthcare organizations throughout Ireland. The roles span settings such as nursing homes, residential care facilities, and disability support services. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity for people who are ready to build a stable, long-term career in compassionate care.

Location and Relocation

These positions are available across Ireland on a nationwide basis, with placements in places such as Dublin, Cork, Wicklow, and other locations. Relocation to Ireland is required.

Experience and Eligibility Requirements

• For general care roles, applicants should have between 6 and 18 months of formal or informal experience in elderly care, respite care, or palliative care.
• For disability and autism support roles, at least 3 months of relevant condition-specific experience is needed.
• Most current openings are limited to candidates who hold a valid EU or UK passport.
• A healthcare qualification comparable to Irish QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support, aligned with European EQF 4, is required.
• A full manual driving licence can be helpful, although it is not compulsory for every placement.

Pay and Benefits

• Hourly pay is between €14.15 and €16.50, based on experience and the specific role.
• Extra pay is available for Sunday shifts, night duties, and public holidays.
• A relocation package is offered, including reimbursement for flights, generally up to €300 to €500, as well as help with accommodation deposits and support.
• Comprehensive relocation assistance is included, covering airport transfers and help finding accommodation.
