Role Overview
We are recruiting multiple HSE Officers to join our expert team on a significant Oil & Gas EPC project based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This role involves supporting and ensuring compliance with ADNOC health, safety, and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide assistance to the HSE Manager and Senior HSE Officer in daily functions.
- Implement the Company’s Integrated Management System (IMS) related to HSE aspects throughout the project duration.
- Ensure all activities carried out by company and subcontractor personnel comply fully with the Company’s HSE policies and procedures.
- Conduct inductions and toolbox talks to inform personnel of HSE hazards and enforce necessary controls and contingency plans.
- Participate actively in accident, incident, and near-miss investigations and reporting.
- Take immediate corrective measures upon identifying HSE risks, informing the HSE Manager promptly.
- Manage and engage in scheduled meetings, emergency drills, inspections, and audits.
- Respond swiftly to reports of unsafe conditions or non-compliance from employees.
- Follow up and facilitate closure of corrective actions arising from operations, audits, and emergencies within responsibility area.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to assistant HSE Officers.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Essential Requirements
- NEBOSH certification or higher.
- Between 5 to 8 years of relevant HSE experience, preferably in the Oil & Gas sector.
- Mandatory experience in either Onshore or Offshore environments.
- Strong knowledge of HSE standards and regulations.
- ADNOC approval is highly desirable.
- Proficient reporting abilities.
- Fluent in both spoken and written English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within GCC countries on oil and gas projects in EPC or industrial construction companies.
