Job description

Role overview

Skeleton Technologies is hiring a motivated and experienced Head of Sales Operations to strengthen the operational foundation of its European commercial team. The position is focused on making the sales organization faster, better organized, and more effective as it sells high-power energy storage solutions for data centers, grid applications, and defense use cases.

This role builds on an already active European sales setup. You will be responsible for the systems, data, and workflows that keep the commercial function moving: converting commercial and market data into actionable insight, bringing consistency to the way the team operates, and clearing the process issues that slow down deals. It is a very hands-on role in a fast-growing environment, and it does not include a personal sales quota. Your impact comes from helping the sales team perform at a higher level.

Why this opportunity stands out

  • This is a chance to work in a market where power availability is becoming a critical constraint for AI growth worldwide, while Skeleton’s technology supports data centers in reducing energy use and expanding compute capacity.
  • The company already has meaningful operational traction, including the world’s largest supercapacitor factory in Germany and a one-gigawatt SuperBattery plant in Finland.
  • You will join a lean, flat organization where decisions can be implemented quickly and your work can have visible impact within weeks rather than quarters.

What you will do

  • Run the commercial operating rhythm across Europe, including pipeline management, forecasting, reporting, and weekly review meetings.
  • Develop a single source of truth for commercial data and turn sales and market information into insights that support leadership decisions.
  • Spot workflow inefficiencies, remove bottlenecks, and standardize effective practices so the commercial engine becomes faster and more predictable.
  • Translate company strategy into commercial OKRs and lead process-improvement work that helps the organization meet those goals.
  • Keep the commercial team aligned and administratively organized so priorities, owners, and deadlines remain clear.
  • Work closely with Sales, Finance, and leadership to keep commercial operations running smoothly and ensure a clean transition to post-close operations.
  • Partner directly with the CEO and leadership team, implementing direction clearly while reporting the state of the commercial organization in a factual and structured way.

What the company is looking for

  • Strong prior experience in sales, commercial operations, or revenue operations, ideally gained in a business that has already gone through major scaling.
  • A deeply data-led and process-oriented approach, with the ability to understand how sales workflows function even if you are not selling yourself.
  • Experience in a hardware-focused technology environment is a plus, though candidates from software backgrounds are also welcome.
  • A practical, organized working style with a strong habit of tracking ownership and keeping work moving without reminders.
  • Comfort in lean, fast-changing environments where structure is limited and direction can shift often.
  • Ability to work with ambiguity rather than relying on large, highly structured corporate systems.
  • Basic knowledge of energy storage and power electronics, or the ability to learn the domain quickly.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Flexibility to be based anywhere in Europe.

Benefits and working environment

  • Flexible working hours, including the option to work remotely without fixed core hours and with room to shape your own approach.
  • A flat organizational structure and a collaborative working atmosphere.
  • Access to a training budget for building skills and expertise.
  • A strong opportunity for ongoing professional growth within Skeleton.
  • An extra day off each year for your birthday.
  • Participation in internal fitness and sports initiatives such as SkelFitness.
  • Company celebrations and team activities, including summer events, New Year’s parties, and other initiatives.
