The company prioritizes listening to athletes to design distinctive products tailored to their specific needs, aiming to better serve both athletes and the sport of football.
Job Overview
As the Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for crafting and implementing the comprehensive marketing strategy for NXTRND, working closely with executive leaders. You will lead the marketing team and oversee brand management, growth marketing, creative direction, product launches, customer acquisition and retention, and retail marketing efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and direct the company's brand strategy ensuring consistent positioning and storytelling.
- Protect and enhance long-term brand value by leading impactful campaigns.
- Manage paid acquisition strategies, focusing on improving return on ad spend (ROAS), customer acquisition cost (CAC), customer lifetime value (LTV), and conversion rates.
- Constantly evaluate and optimize marketing campaigns through testing.
- Lead product launches and coordinate with product, sales, and creative teams.
- Support marketing efforts for retail channels.
- Supervise creative content across all platforms and maintain brand standards.
- Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing marketing team.
- Set and monitor key performance indicators and hold the team accountable.
- Manage the marketing budget and establish scalable operational systems.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product, supply chain, and finance departments, providing regular performance reports to leadership.
Required Qualifications
- At least seven years of leadership experience in marketing.
- Proven background in scaling consumer product or eCommerce brands.
- Comprehensive knowledge of brand strategy with expertise in performance marketing.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and project management capabilities.
- Strong analytical skills combined with experience managing budgets.
- A passion for sports or consumer brand industries is considered a plus.
Work Details
- Full-time position based onsite in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
- Standard workweek from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Reporting Structure
- Reports directly to the CEO/COO.
- Direct team includes Brand Manager, Performance Marketing Manager, Ecommerce & Digital Merchandising Manager, Senior Graphic Designer, Graphic Designer, and Creative Partners.
