Job description

About Disseqt

Disseqt provides an enterprise AI assurance layer that helps organisations test, protect, enforce, and demonstrate compliance across the full lifecycle of AI agents in real time. The platform is built for enterprises, GSIs, and financial services firms that need to deploy AI with confidence and at scale while meeting requirements such as the EU AI Act, ISO 42001, NIST, and FCA standards.

With headquarters in Dublin and teams expanding in London and Bengaluru, the company is at a pivotal stage: customer traction is strong, a commercial pipeline is already in motion, and there is an urgent market need for the product. This is the point at which the marketing function needs to be created and scaled.

Role overview

This is Disseqt’s first dedicated marketing appointment. You will take full ownership of the function, covering strategy, execution, and every practical detail in between. There is no existing team to absorb and no preset framework to inherit, so you will be responsible for building both the approach and the operating model from the ground up.

You will report directly to the CEO and collaborate closely with a small, fast-moving leadership group. The main objective is to increase pipeline, tighten market positioning, and establish Disseqt as a leading authority in enterprise AI governance.

The position is open to candidates based in Dublin or London.

Responsibilities

  • Shape the company’s go-to-market story, including ideal customer profile definition and category positioning in enterprise AI governance.
  • Create and deliver a marketing plan that is tied to revenue outcomes rather than surface-level metrics.
  • Turn technical AI assurance topics into clear, persuasive messaging for CISOs, compliance leaders, and AI risk stakeholders.
  • Track the competitive environment and continuously refine how Disseqt stands apart.
  • Design and run demand generation programmes across content, events, email, and paid media.
  • Enable the sales team with outbound campaigns, sales collateral, and account-based marketing for enterprise prospects.
  • Own the full funnel from awareness through to the generation of qualified pipeline.
  • Develop joint marketing initiatives with GSIs and channel partners.
  • Build a content programme spanning long-form pieces, social content, video, event presentations, and regulatory commentary.
  • Position Disseqt and its founders as trusted voices on the EU AI Act, ISO 42001, and enterprise AI risk.
  • Manage the company’s presence on LinkedIn, its newsletter, and earned media, while developing relationships with analysts and trade publications.
  • Produce sales enablement assets such as one-pagers, case studies, pitch decks, battle cards, and demo scripts.
  • Protect and evolve the brand across all outward-facing materials and channels.
  • Own PR and communications work including press releases, media relationships, award submissions, and industry recognition.
  • Oversee outside agencies and freelancers where required, and decide what should stay in-house versus outsourced.
  • Represent Disseqt at conferences, panels, and industry events together with the leadership team.

Requirements

  • 8 or more years of B2B marketing experience, with substantial exposure to AI, compliance, or enterprise software.
  • Hands-on experience marketing AI products or platforms, including an understanding of the technology, the buyer, and the regulatory context.
  • A demonstrated history of building marketing in a startup environment and making it work from an early stage.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise sales motions and the role marketing plays in closing large organisations.
  • Excellent writing skills for both technical and executive-level audiences.
  • Comfort with data, pipeline contribution goals, and performance reporting.
  • A highly practical approach, with the ability to define work, prepare the brief, and execute personally when needed.
  • Useful additional knowledge of the EU AI Act, ISO 42001, NIST AI RMF, or similar frameworks.
  • Experience marketing to financial services, GSIs, or other regulated sectors.
  • Background in community building or analyst relations within an emerging technology category.
  • Experience working in or across the Dublin or London market.
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to work from a blank slate, act quickly, make decisions with limited information, and adjust course calmly.
  • Comfort being the most senior marketing leader in the room while still doing hands-on execution.

Who this role suits

This role is a strong fit for someone who finds a blank page motivating, moves quickly, and is comfortable taking initiative without waiting for direction. It suits a senior marketing leader who is equally willing to own strategy and carry out the practical work that might otherwise sit with a more junior team member.
