- Identify technological deficiencies and potential enhancements to optimize smart dispatch, route planning, digitalization, and operational effectiveness.
- Support IT transformation initiatives by integrating fragmented systems arising from acquisition growth.
- Collaborate closely with integration and application development leaders to align IT solutions with strategic technology objectives.
- Contribute to defining IT standards, prioritizing modernization efforts, and shaping the long-term technology roadmap for transport logistics.
- Partner with senior leaders to plan and manage rollout, change management, and execution activities across locations.
- Facilitate the migration from outdated and scattered TMS platforms towards a unified AX / D365 ecosystem.
Experience & Skills Required

- Comprehensive understanding of groupage and transport logistics is essential.
- Prior experience with TMS systems, digital transport workflows, eCMR, and e-invoicing is highly desirable.
- Capability to recognize technology gaps and implement practical enhancements in the business context.
- Established credibility among operational teams and senior management.
- Proven history of leading standards enforcement, transformation projects, and strategic rollout within logistics environments.
- Must be resident on-site in Southern Germany; only limited hybrid working options are available.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaboratively engage with leadership and stakeholders.
