Head of Global Payments Business

Role Overview

As the Head of Global Payments Business at Coins.ph in Singapore, you will be responsible for devising and driving the overall strategy, growth, and operational execution of the organization's global payments division. This vital leadership role involves spearheading multiple teams and ensuring scaled, efficient payment solutions to support business objectives worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and own the global payments business strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and pushing forward business expansion.
• Manage and coordinate cross-functional teams spanning Product, Operations, Data Analytics, and Technology to achieve seamless operation and innovation.
• Set clear business priorities, develop product roadmaps, design effective operating models, and initiate growth projects to enhance business performance.
• Develop and scale products covering cross-border payment solutions including collections, payouts, remittances, fiat on/off ramp services, and stablecoin payment products.
• Work closely with internal departments such as Sales, Compliance, and Risk, and maintain strong partnerships with external entities to facilitate market penetration and customer base expansion.
• Supervise payment operations, including settlement procedures, liquidity management, and service level monitoring to optimize operational efficiency.
• Implement governance frameworks, define KPIs, and develop performance management systems to ensure organizational accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 8 years’ experience in payments, fintech, banking, remittance, or digital asset sectors.
• Proven leadership background with full accountability for a business unit or payments organization, demonstrating the ability to manage overall business outcomes.
• Deep understanding of payment products, cross-border payment mechanisms, payment infrastructures, and operational workflows.
• Experience directing teams across Product, Operations, Analytics, and Technology disciplines.
• Strong commercial insight enabling the translation of market trends into scalable, successful product offerings and business growth.
• Track record of building and nurturing high-performing teams to meet and exceed organizational goals.
• Comprehensive knowledge of AML/KYC standards, sanctions compliance, and the regulatory landscape governing global payments.
• Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
