Head of Finance

Overview

A fintech organization is in search of a Group CFO / Head of Finance to join its executive team located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This high-level finance position spans a diverse investment portfolio with business activities across circular economy, infrastructure, fintech, technology, logistics, and wellbeing sectors, operating in multiple countries.

Role Details

This position is distinct from a traditional CFO role. The successful applicant will oversee financial operations throughout a variety of business units and will act as a strategic advisor to senior management while building robust financial frameworks in a dynamic investment setting.

Primary Duties

• Direct the finance department across several businesses and national jurisdictions.
• Collaborate with leadership teams within portfolio companies to facilitate expansion and guide strategic decisions.
• Supervise group-wide financial planning, reporting, and control mechanisms.
• Manage complex financial frameworks involving multiple entities and jurisdictions.
• Assist in scaling businesses spanning the group’s diverse industry sectors.
• Promote financial governance and ensure consistency across all portfolio companies.

Required Experience & Skills

• Extensive background in senior finance positions, preferably involving oversight of groups or multiple entities.
• Expertise in fintech and/or project finance fields.
• Experience handling multi-entity and multi-jurisdiction financial structures.
• Significant exposure to the GCC markets, with preference for familiarity with Saudi Arabian business environments.
• Ability to thrive and deliver results rapidly within a fast-evolving, investment-led context.
• Strong commercial insight and capability to liaise effectively with leaders across assorted industries.
• Residency in Riyadh or readiness to relocate is essential.
