Position Overview

This full-time permanent role is available immediately at Long Bay College, a co-educational secondary school located near Long Bay Beach and the Long Bay Village in Auckland. Established in 1975, the school educates approximately 2000 students with a combined staff of 170 teaching and support personnel.

Faculty and Role Details

The position arises following an external promotion and offers an exciting leadership opportunity within a dynamic and supportive Health and Physical Education Faculty. The faculty is well-known for its collaborative environment, positive culture, and dedication to high academic performance, demonstrated by student achievements including success at NZQA Scholarship level.

The Head of Faculty will lead a team delivering curriculum in Scholarship, Physical Education, Health, Early Childhood, and Sport Leadership. This role’s terms are governed by the Secondary Teachers' Collective Agreement. The base salary for registered and trained teachers will range from $61329 to $103086, dependent on qualifications and experience. Final salary will be determined through an assessment process upon appointment.
