Job description
Position Overview
Rangitoto College is seeking a dedicated full-time Social Science teacher to commence in Term 1, 2027. This permanent role is based onsite in Auckland, New Zealand, within a vibrant and well-resourced department. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and motivated educator, capable of thriving in an active and dynamic school environment.
Teaching Responsibilities
Candidates should clearly detail their subject specialties within social sciences, with preference for those able to teach across two or more areas. The college prides itself on delivering a Knowledge Rich Curriculum interwoven with Mātauranga Māori and guided by research-based teaching principles. Teachers may have opportunities to contribute to teaching either the International Baccalaureate Diploma or NCEA curricula, with prior IB experience considered beneficial but not essential.
