Role overview
New Farm State School is seeking an experienced curriculum-focused leader to step into the Head of Department (Curriculum) position on a temporary full-time basis until 11 December 2026, unless otherwise determined. In this role, you will help drive teaching and learning quality across the school and support staff to deliver an engaging, research-informed curriculum that lifts outcomes for all students.

What the role involves
- Direct curriculum planning, delivery, and review across the school.
- Strengthen staff capability through instructional leadership, coaching, and professional learning.
- Use evidence and student data to improve curriculum practice and track outcomes.
- Partner with the leadership team to progress whole-school goals and improvement priorities.
