About The Communications Team

This team safeguards and enhances Stripe's global reputation and influence. The APAC Communications Head will lead regional communications efforts as Stripe expands in Asia-Pacific.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and own the communication strategy for the APAC region, encompassing Singapore headquarters, Southeast Asia, and India, tailored to support Stripe’s user and business growth.
• Initiate and implement innovative, engaging communication campaigns that elevate Stripe’s regional reputation and promote economic development.
• Collaborate closely with Stripe users and partners to incorporate their perspectives into campaigns, announcements, and other communications.
• Establish and nurture relationships with users, media influencers, journalists, and opinion leaders in the region.
• Lead and manage the APAC communications team, including country leads for Australia-New Zealand, Japan, and Greater China.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Minimum of twelve years experience in communications roles.
• Exceptional written communication skills.
• Profound understanding of APAC, especially Southeast Asia and/or India.
• Proven excellence in managing and mentoring teams.
• Strong background in corporate communications, including handling issues management.

Work Location & Attendance

Primary location is Singapore, with a possibility for Sydney if uniquely qualified. This position requires frequent presence in the office—employees in most locations are expected to work at least half their time onsite monthly to promote collaboration and connection, though specific attendance may vary by function and location.

Compensation & Benefits

The salary range for this role in Singapore is between S$208,000 and S$312,000 annually, subject to variation based on location and candidate factors. The compensation might encompass base salary, bonuses, commissions (for sales roles), equity, retirement plans, health insurance, and wellness perks. Details will be discussed during hiring conversations.
