About the Role
We are offering an exciting leadership position for a seasoned commercial marketing professional to spearhead the growth of a key product category within a prominent retail company based in Dublin. This role involves shaping the long-term strategic direction to boost category growth, leveraging market insights, and steering marketing initiatives that yield tangible commercial benefits.
The position requires a commitment of three days per week onsite, with relocation support provided to suitable candidates. The salary package is competitive, at €140,000 annually plus additional benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and drive the long-term growth strategy for a vital retail category.
- Collaborate closely with senior commercial stakeholders to uncover growth avenues and expand market share.
- Utilize customer insights and market trends to develop marketing strategies that align with business objectives.
- Design and execute integrated marketing campaigns that bolster seasonal sales, product launches, and critical commercial occasions.
- Make data-informed investment choices aimed at enhancing the efficiency and results of marketing activities.
- Continuously evaluate category performance and adjust marketing plans in line with customer behaviors and sales outcomes.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to implement cohesive and commercially driven marketing programs.
- Build and nurture a high-caliber marketing team capable of executing best-in-class category initiatives.
Essential Experience and Skills
- Proven experience in leading category, commercial, or consumer marketing within a sizable enterprise.
- Track record of devising growth strategies that achieve measurable commercial success.
- Expertise in managing substantial marketing budgets and campaign financing.
- Strong working relationships with Buying, Product, or Commercial teams.
- Competence in leveraging customer data, market analytics, and performance metrics to guide strategic decisions.
- Ability to lead teams effectively through dynamic and complex environments marked by continuous change.
