Head of Business Technology - Supply Chain & Enterprise Applications

About the Role

Based in Sydney, this senior leadership position involves guiding the strategy, transformation, and delivery of key technology platforms supporting Supply Chain, ERP, and Enterprise Applications within a rapidly expanding organization. Reporting to the executive leadership team, you will be instrumental in leveraging advanced technologies such as AI and automation to boost operational efficiencies, improve customer satisfaction, and facilitate sustained growth.

This role requires a pragmatic and hands-on leader who can balance high-level strategic planning with detailed operational involvement, collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to resolve complex business challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the business technology strategy for Supply Chain and Enterprise Applications.
• Manage the ERP roadmap alongside the overall enterprise technology ecosystem.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, and Operations to create scalable technical solutions.
• Lead technology-driven transformation projects across logistics, fulfillment, planning, supplier operations, and customer experience.
• Explore and apply AI, automation, and emerging tech to enhance efficiency and reduce expenditure.
• Promote continuous enhancements in systems, processes, and operational practices.
• Oversee strategic relationships with technology vendors and SaaS providers.
• Control budget allocation, commercial metrics, and technology investments.
• Build and mentor a talented, high-performing team.

Candidate Profile

• Experience in Enterprise Applications, Business Technology, Supply Chain Technology, ERP Transformation, Retail, eCommerce, or Consumer Technology.
• Proven track record in spearheading technology transformations in complex settings.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Dynamics 365, Oracle, Manhattan, or equivalents.
• Strong skills in managing stakeholders across Technology, Operations, and Commercial sectors.
• A hands-on leadership approach with a willingness to engage directly and drive actions.
• Capability to translate business needs into effective technological solutions.
• Excellent communication skills coupled with a collaborative and modest demeanor.
• Experience working in dynamic, fast-growing environments.
