Head of Banking Product Portfolio

Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned and entrepreneurial leader to oversee SAP Fioneer's global banking product portfolio, spanning Core Banking, Payments, Digital Banking, and innovative technologies such as AI and Digital Currencies. This senior role extends far beyond typical product management, involving ownership of portfolio vision, strategic direction, investment prioritization, and ensuring financial success across all banking product profit centers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and shape the global strategy for SAP Fioneer's Banking Product Portfolio in alignment with business growth goals and market demands.
• Develop and maintain the long-term vision, roadmaps, and set priorities for investment across diverse banking solutions.
• Explore new market opportunities, including product extensions, mergers and acquisitions, partnerships, and innovation projects to accelerate expansion.
• Continuously evaluate industry trends and competitor products to safeguard portfolio competitiveness.
• Direct product strategies related to Core Banking, Cash Management, Payment, and Digital Banking platforms.
• Manage portfolio lifecycle, encompassing investment decisions, business case development, pricing strategies, and profitability oversight.
• Define measurable key performance indicators related to revenue growth, customer adoption, profitability, customer satisfaction, and market share.
• Champion standardization, scalability, and cloud migration initiatives across the product suite.
• Conduct high-level strategy workshops with customers, partners, regulators, and industry leaders.
• Serve as a trusted consultant to senior banking executives on topics including modernization, digital transformation, AI integration, and core banking strategy.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Solution, and Go-to-Market teams to boost sales pipeline and revenue achievement.
• Support significant strategic deals and transformation initiatives by communicating SAP Fioneer's competitive product vision.
• Drive portfolio growth via upselling, cross-selling, and entry into new markets.
• Participate in annual business planning, revenue forecasting, and portfolio investment schedules.
• Build and lead a globally distributed, high-performing product management and engineering team.
• Foster a culture centered on customer focus, innovation, accountability, and ownership.

Qualifications

• Over 15 years of leadership experience within Banking Technology, Financial Services Software, Core Banking, Payments, or FinTech sectors.
• Demonstrated success in managing and scaling large enterprise banking product portfolios with P&L oversight.
• Strong experience partnering with global banking and financial institution clients.
• Deep knowledge of banking transformation projects and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to translate emerging market dynamics into actionable product strategy and business outcomes.
• Advanced understanding of portfolio investment management and product profitability.
• Experience crafting and executing growth strategies in international markets.
• Ability to balance innovative product development with customer needs.
• Excellent communication and presentation capabilities.
• Proven track record in leading and aligning diverse, global cross-functional teams.
