Role Overview
This position is for a client of Weekday AI, based in Delhi, India, seeking a seasoned professional to spearhead and expand international business efforts. The leadership role demands a minimum of 10 years' experience and focuses on global market penetration, export operations, and partnership building to foster sustainable growth across multiple geographies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust strategies for international business aligned with long-term company objectives.
- Identify and capitalize on new global markets, customers, and channel partners to boost international sales.
- Oversee export operations ensuring full compliance with trade regulations, customs, and related documentation.
- Manage all Export-Import processes, including shipping logistics, regulatory adherence, and commercial negotiations.
- Establish and nurture enduring relationships with overseas clients, distributors, governments, and strategic partners.
- Analyze global market opportunities by utilizing competitive research, customer feedback, and market intelligence.
- Formulate pricing, distribution, and market entry strategies to drive revenue and profitability.
- Coordinate with supply chain, production, finance, legal, and operations teams to guarantee timely order execution and client satisfaction.
- Represent the organization at international trade events, business forums, and industry gatherings.
- Monitor global market trends, competitor moves, tariffs, trade policies, and geopolitical factors impacting business.
- Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing international sales teams with clear performance metrics and growth plans.
- Prepare forecasts, sales reports, revenue projections, and strategic presentations for senior leadership.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Business, Commerce, Marketing, Engineering, or relevant fields is mandatory.
- An MBA or postgraduate degree in International Business, Marketing, or General Management is preferred.
- Possess between 10 to 30 years of progressive international business development, export management, or global sales leadership experience.
- Proven track record in expanding business presence internationally and managing substantial export portfolios.
