Handyman - Full Time & Part Time Positions

About the Role

Ace Handyman Services is a well-established home repair, remodeling, and maintenance provider based in Evansville, Indiana, known for delivering excellent craftsmanship to both residential and commercial clients throughout southwestern Indiana. We are actively seeking motivated and skilled craftsmen or handymen/women who are proficient in multiple trades to join our team. This is a role for individuals dedicated to quality work, customer satisfaction, and timely completion of assigned tasks with professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general repairs and maintenance involving light plumbing, electrical tasks, carpentry, tile work, drywall installation and repair, flooring, and other handyman services.
• Proactively inspect client properties to identify potential repair needs and communicate these to customers to offer additional services.
• Provide excellent customer service by earning client trust through high-quality workmanship and identifying opportunities to perform further work.
• Collaborate efficiently with management, office staff, customers, suppliers, and property managers while maintaining punctuality and professionalism.
• Ensure tools and equipment are well-organized and appropriate for each job; troubleshoot problems quickly and effectively.
• Represent the company with a clean-cut personal appearance and maintain a presentable vehicle.
• Uphold the highest integrity and strive to exceed customer expectations consistently.

Candidate Requirements

• Demonstrated general knowledge across multiple trade skills, including but not limited to light plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, tile, drywall, and flooring.
• Ownership or strong familiarity with the appropriate tools, even if not personally owning all tools required.
• Strong problem-solving abilities to evaluate and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with customers, team members, and management.
• High level of organization regarding equipment and timely completion of work.
• Ability to present a professional and neat personal appearance along with a clean vehicle.
• Preferred but not mandatory: a General Contractor (GC) and/or Commercial License for Vanderburgh County.
