Role Overview

The Craftsman acts as a well-rounded trade professional adept in home repairs and consultations. Working closely with the Office Manager, the Craftsman manages customer expectations and consistently delivers superior home improvement experiences representing the Ace Handyman Services brand.

Daily Responsibilities

• Review daily assignments and contact customers the evening prior to scheduled jobs.
• Utilize the Dispatch.me Field App to manage day-to-day tasks and assignments.
• Follow the companys Service Path to uphold brand standards during service delivery.
• Document job details, prepare accurate invoices, and process payments upon job completion.
• Use handyman expertise to identify and expand the scope of work where possible before or during projects.
• Acquire materials needed for jobs as required.
• Promote Ace Handyman Services by distributing promotional materials when appropriate.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess and maintain a standard set of tools.
• Own a personal vehicle (car, truck, or van) with a valid drivers license for travel between jobs.
• Have at least one year of experience in handyman or carpentry roles.
• Demonstrate proficiency in multiple trades such as carpentry, tiling, painting, drywall installation, basic plumbing, and light electrical work.
• Effectively communicate with customers and team members.
• Reside within 25 miles of Savannah with willingness to travel up to 30% of work hours in and around the Savannah area.
• Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
• Successfully pass background screenings and random drug tests.

Work Environment & Schedule

• Regular workdays are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no weekend shifts.
• Expect to spend approximately 8 to 9 hours per shift on feet.
• Perform duties indoors and outdoors depending on the job requirements.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly pay ranges from $20 to $30 based on experience plus a $35 trip fee when using personal vehicle.
