Guest Service Associate - Food & Beverage

Job Overview

This role involves delivering professional and efficient Food & Beverage service to guests, ensuring their expectations are met and surpassed, while maintaining high standards of hospitality at Mercure Hotels, Kakori.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome guests in accordance with company standards.
• Provide expert food and beverage service, addressing guest requests, complaints, and inquiries swiftly and effectively to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate closely with all hotel departments to promote teamwork, boost productivity, morale, and ensure superior guest experiences.
• Monitor the optimal and cost-effective usage of resources, educating team members accordingly.
• Prepare all operating equipment and carefully inspect linens and condiments prior to service.
• Possess thorough knowledge of all menu items.
• Clear used tableware promptly and reset tables for incoming guests.
• Act as a substitute for the Food & Beverage Executive when necessary, including taking orders and advising guests on special menu options.
• Maintain familiarity with hotel layout, including fire exits and elevator locations.
• Report equipment malfunctions, emergencies, or suspicious activity to the Food & Beverage Executive.
• Report any concerns which could impact the interests of Mercure Lucknow Gomti Nagar to management immediately.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess a Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management or an equivalent qualification. A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience working in branded hotels is required.
