About the Role
Join the friendly and supportive team at Lancemore Crossley St Hotel as a casual Guest Service Agent, responsible for representing the front of house reception team. Key duties include portage of guest luggage, assisting with reservation inquiries about rates, availability, and packages, conducting accurate and timely guest check-in and check-out, and offering courteous greetings using guest names.
Additional responsibilities involve handling guest questions, providing information on local attractions and directions, promptly answering inbound calls in a professional manner, informing guests about property facilities and services, accurate setup of guest accounts, and careful reconciliation of cashier floats at shift end.
You will document all transactions and changes to accounts or reservations, communicate effectively with team members across shifts to ensure service continuity, promptly relay guest requests and concerns to appropriate departments, and ensure special requests are fulfilled timely. Maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the front desk, managing payments and issuing receipts, upholding dress and grooming standards, and performing other duties as assigned by management are also expected. Embracing the hotel's culture with a "Yes We Can" attitude and striving to exceed guest expectations is essential.
About You
The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering exceptional guest satisfaction and enjoys working within a highly engaged team. Previous experience with hotel's front office operations, including reservations management, cash handling, and reception tasks, will be highly advantageous. Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays is required. A proactive, positive mindset combined with a passion for the hospitality industry will help ensure success in this role.
