Graphic Design Specialist

About the Role

Stefanini Group is seeking a Graphic Design Specialist based in Boston, MA to join their onsite team. This role focuses on creating visual communications and digital interfaces to advance the Bank's mission and strengthen its brand identity, utilizing AI-enhanced design tools responsibly to boost creativity and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop visual and digital communication materials aligned with organizational goals and brand standards.
• Collaborate with project teams to understand business objectives and translate them into effective design solutions.
• Lead design processes from concept development through final production, integrating AI-assisted ideation and automation.
• Create diverse design artifacts such as sketches, wireframes, storyboards, charts, graphics, data visualizations, and interactive layouts utilizing AI tools where suitable.
• Partner with UX, Digital Strategy, IT, and Communications teams to enhance digital programs.
• Stay updated on design trends, research, and advancements in AI-supported creative workflows.
• Participate in user research and use AI-driven synthesis tools to extract insights when applicable.
• Ensure ethical, transparent, and brand-compliant use of AI in creative work, including sourcing imagery responsibly and generating AI-assisted visuals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in graphic design, visual studies, or related discipline, plus 3-5 years of professional experience.
• Effective teamwork skills in multidisciplinary environments.
• Strong creativity, problem-solving abilities, and meticulous attention to design and typography details.
• Excellent planning, prioritization, and organizational competencies.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, modern design software, HTML, and CSS; knowledge of digital photo/video production is advantageous.
• Experienced with AI-assisted design tools, capable of assessing AI output accuracy, accessibility, ethics, and brand fit.
• Ability to clearly communicate design decisions and understand user-centered design principles.
• Customer service focused with strong interpersonal skills.
