About the Role

Become a vital member of the WA Commercial Finance team at Veolia as a Graduate Finance Analyst, supporting operational objectives through close collaboration with Senior Finance Analysts. This permanent full-time position based in Welshpool, Western Australia, offers comprehensive exposure to diverse financial duties with opportunities for career advancement.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in performing financial analyses and variance reporting under Senior Finance Analyst guidance.
• Contribute to monthly financial result preparation and review processes.
• Gain expertise in financial reporting procedures and accounting standards.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of balance sheet reconciliations.
• Reconcile and verify revenue control accounts against ERP systems.
• Support general ledger reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Participate in annual budgeting and monthly forecasting activities.
• Assist in compiling and analysing data for budget submissions.
• Collaborate with the National Tender team to aid commercial model development and tender submissions.
• Engage in initiatives to improve processes and operational efficiency.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance.
• Commencing or progressing CPA/CA accreditation.
• Be a recent graduate or have up to two years' experience in finance or accounting roles.
• Experience working in accounting or financial analysis within complex organisational environments.
• Familiarity with SAP, TM1, and Google Suite considered beneficial.
