Role Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Business Analyst with 8 to 10 years of experience in the banking sector, particularly with expertise in Trade Finance. This role is based in Hyderabad and requires five days of onsite work per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and examine business requirements from key stakeholders.
- Develop Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), process flow diagrams, and other functional documentation.
- Conduct gap analyses and assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Collaborate closely with business units and technology teams to implement Trade Finance solutions.
- Operate efficiently within Agile frameworks, supporting the full project lifecycle.
Required Skills and Expertise
- 8 to 10 years of business analysis experience in the banking domain.
- In-depth knowledge of Trade Finance instruments such as Letters of Credit (LC), Bank Guarantees (BG), Documentary Collections, Trade Loans, and SWIFT Messaging.
- Proficiency in requirement elicitation, BRD/FRD preparation, process mapping, gap analysis, and UAT.
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Technical Competencies
- Experience with Jira and Confluence for project tracking and collaboration.
- Ability to use Microsoft Visio for process diagrams.
- Proficient in SQL queries and MS Excel for data analysis.
- Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman and Swagger.
- Exposure to Azure DevOps is advantageous.
Preferred Background
- Experience with Trade Finance platforms like Finastra Trade Innovation (TI), Oracle Banking Trade Finance, Surecomp, SWIFT, or comparable systems.
- Candidates with prior involvement in major banks or Trade Finance transformation initiatives are highly desirable.
Educational Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related discipline is required.
Work Location and Schedule
The position is located in Hyderabad and requires working from the office five days a week.
