Job description
About Gallagher
Gallagher exists to protect what matters most. That commitment shapes everything the company does, from safeguarding highly secure environments to supporting agricultural businesses, while also putting people, their families and communities first.
Gallagher Security is focused on helping customers create more value through the strength of its people and solutions. With 88 years of innovation behind it, the company has a history of building practical, forward-thinking products, beginning with the first electric fence in the 1930s and continuing today with security solutions that improve productivity and efficiency.
The business believes security should be more than protection alone. Its aim is to show customers that its solutions can do far more than they may initially expect.
About the Role
This is a hands-on role for someone who can accelerate Gallagher Security’s go-to-market capability using practical, commercially useful AI. You will create and support AI-driven tools, workflows and resources that help sales teams and Channel Partners understand, position and sell Gallagher solutions more effectively.
Working with Sales Enablement, Product Marketing, Training and regional sales teams, you will convert complex product and market information into simple, usable tools that improve commercial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Create AI-enabled tools, workflows and resources for sales teams and Channel Partners.
- Turn business and commercial problems into practical AI-based solutions.
- Develop repeatable workflows such as product knowledge assistants, objection-handling aids and interactive industry guides.
- Work with stakeholders to assess, test and launch high-value capability.
- Use adoption insights and user feedback to refine and improve what has been built.
- Support responsible AI practices by ensuring tools align with privacy, security and governance expectations.
About You
You are naturally inquisitive and enjoy building solutions that address real business needs. You are comfortable moving quickly, experimenting, testing and improving while keeping the focus on results. You can work across technical and commercial conversations, making complex ideas easy to understand and creating tools people genuinely use.
What You’ll Bring
- Demonstrated experience creating AI-powered tools, workflows or applications.
- A portfolio showing practical solutions you have built, launched and maintained.
- About 5 or more years of experience in sales, sales enablement, product marketing, go-to-market or a similar B2B setting.
- Experience working with sales teams; experience with channel partners is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to describe AI in clear business terms.
- A practical, experimental approach along with a strong eye for design.
- Confidence working with security, privacy and compliance considerations.
- Curiosity, self-direction and flexibility to collaborate across time zones when needed.
Working at Gallagher
You will join a global organisation that values creativity and innovation, with a workplace built on collaboration, passion, craftsmanship and mutual respect.
The role is based in Hamilton, Waikato, New Zealand, and is described as hybrid flexibility in practice, typically three days in the office each week, with additional onsite days depending on business needs.
Benefits
- Competitive pay with bonus opportunities.
- Hybrid working flexibility, usually three office days per week plus extra onsite time when required.
- KiwiSaver contribution on top of salary, plus life and disability insurance.
- Mentoring and professional development support.
- A positive team culture with team-building activities, creative inspiration trips and an enjoyable work environment.
Additional Information
Applications are assessed as they are received, and the role may be filled before the closing date.
