Job description
Role overview
De’Longhi Group is seeking an ambitious and culturally aware social leader to redefine how its brands show up across social channels. In this position, you will lead social-first campaigns, creator-led storytelling, and culturally relevant content that strengthens brand growth, audience engagement, advocacy, and commercial performance across De’Longhi, Kenwood, and Braun.
The role sits at the crossroads of brand, culture, creators, content, earned media, and commerce. You will turn global marketing priorities into social movements that people want to follow, share, and join in with. Working across markets, you will help ensure social acts as a strategic growth driver rather than only a distribution channel.
Key responsibilities
- Set the global social strategy and activation approach for major campaigns, product launches, partnerships, and important cultural moments.
- Create social-first campaign systems that can be rolled out consistently across multiple markets.
- Design every major campaign to encourage creator involvement, earned media reach, community participation, and paid support.
- Work closely with brand, media, PR, e-commerce, product marketing, and market teams to deliver joined-up campaigns.
- Spot opportunities to turn campaigns into relevant cultural moments that spark discussion and advocacy.
- Own the global content strategy across the main social platforms.
- Build annual, quarterly, and monthly content plans aligned to business goals.
- Direct editorial planning across brand campaigns, product storytelling, coffee culture, lifestyle and passion themes, seasonal activity, creator content, and community engagement.
- Ensure content is designed for each platform, focused on audience needs, and built to perform.
- Maintain strong content quality across markets while allowing room for local adaptation.
- Adopt a culture-led approach to social planning and execution.
- Track emerging trends, behaviours, creators, communities, and platform opportunities.
- Develop agile frameworks that help markets respond quickly to relevant trends.
- Turn cultural and social insights into practical opportunities for the brands.
- Recommend ways for the brands to participate in culture in a credible and meaningful way.
- Integrate social listening and trend intelligence into campaign development.
- Partner with creator, influencer, and earned media teams to increase campaign effectiveness.
- Embed creators into campaign thinking from the very beginning.
- Build repeatable creator participation models for launches and cultural moments.
- Encourage authentic engagement through community-first thinking.
- Help evolve creator programmes that build advocacy and brand affinity.
- Create scalable toolkits and content frameworks for local markets.
- Make sure campaigns and content can be adapted effectively across regions.
- Set clear governance and working practices between global and local teams.
- Balance global consistency with local relevance and market responsiveness.
- Build strong relationships with regional and market social leaders.
- Champion social-first creative thinking across the organisation.
- Raise creative standards across content, campaigns, creator work, and community engagement.
- Manage agency partners across creative, social, creator, and production disciplines.
- Continuously explore new formats, platform innovations, and storytelling possibilities.
- Encourage experimentation and innovation while protecting brand quality.
- Define campaign and content KPIs as well as measurement frameworks.
- Review content performance and audience behaviour to inform future activity.
- Use data, insights, and social listening to improve results over time.
- Promote a mindset of testing, learning, and continuous improvement.
- Show how social contributes to broader brand and commercial objectives.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing global team.
- Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, creativity, and curiosity.
- Set clear priorities, workflows, and governance.
- Manage agency relationships and budgets effectively.
Experience and skills
Applicants should bring strong experience in social media, digital marketing, content, or integrated communications, along with a track record of leading social campaigns and content strategies for global consumer brands. A deep working knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and emerging channels is important, as is the ability to manage agencies, creators, production partners, and cross-functional stakeholders. Success in delivering large-scale campaigns across multiple international markets is essential, alongside a strong commercial mindset and excellent presentation, communication, and influencing skills.
Preferred background includes work with premium consumer, lifestyle, technology, food and beverage, luxury, or FMCG brands, plus exposure to EMEA, North America, and Asia-Pacific markets. Experience with creator marketing, social commerce, earned media, social listening, analytics, and creator management platforms will be valuable.
