Job description

Role overview

PepsiCo is a global company built around a mission to create positive moments for people everywhere. Its portfolio includes more than 500 well-known brands such as Gatorade, Lay’s, and Quaker, and its work reaches millions of consumers every day.

The organization is powered by people who think creatively, solve problems, and work together to turn ideas into action. With innovation and consumer focus at the center, the company aims to create meaningful work for its people while making a lasting contribution to the communities it serves.

In this position, you will sit within the Global Employer Brand Content team and help shape top-of-funnel talent communications across the PepsiCoJobs digital ecosystem. You will act as the editorial lead for the team, turning strategy into a consistent standard of quality, tone, and storytelling across all published content.

You will own the global editorial calendar and guide the content series and recurring storytelling formats that keep the team’s output coherent and impactful. A key part of the role is developing content for the Frontline audience — the people who make, transport, and sell PepsiCo products — and this work will serve as a strong example of the team’s editorial craft.

The role works closely with cohort content leads, Recruitment Marketing, Talent Acquisition, and other stakeholders across the business. It is a mix of strategic planning and hands-on writing, and the ability to tell strong stories and influence across teams matters more than years of experience alone.

Responsibilities

  • Create and deliver the global plan for employer brand social activations, making sure centralized content supports both global consistency and local market needs.
  • Identify priority markets and design social content approaches that can be adapted locally without losing alignment with the global brand direction.
  • Shape content for the right channel formats, including LinkedIn, Instagram, Glassdoor, TikTok, YouTube, and career websites.
  • Own the global social content calendar and coordinate it across campaigns, audience cohorts, and wider business priorities.
  • Lead the rollout of employer brand content from global to local markets, keeping storytelling and messaging consistent.
  • Build and maintain content playbooks and recurring editorial franchises, giving teams clear guidance and best practices.
  • Ensure social activations support employer branding priorities and strengthen PepsiCo’s position as an employer of choice.
  • Track new social trends and use emerging digital engagement methods to improve content performance.
  • Work with creative agencies when extra production support is needed, while providing clear editorial guidance and quality checks.
  • Align with the Employer Brand Content Team Leader so editorial direction stays consistent with the wider employer brand message.
  • Partner with cohort content leads to preserve a unified voice and high quality across all content streams.
  • Collaborate with Recruitment Marketing so top-of-funnel content connects well with broader full-funnel activity.
  • Support Talent Acquisition and HR teams by equipping local markets with the tools, content, and guidance needed to run campaigns effectively.
  • Direct external creative agencies on production, execution, and budget fit.
  • Make sure global campaigns meet legal requirements and are adapted appropriately for different cultures and local contexts.
  • Work with the team’s insights partner to define and improve KPIs that measure the success of global employer brand activations.
  • Use audience data and performance insights to refine editorial decisions and social strategy over time.
  • Maintain regular reporting and summarize key findings for Talent Acquisition, Employer Branding, and Recruitment Marketing stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in social media strategy, employer branding, recruitment marketing, or digital content management, ideally with global content responsibilities.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a closely related discipline.
  • Strong editorial ability, including writing, tone-of-voice control, and sound narrative judgment across multiple content types.
  • Proven experience building global social content strategies that balance central direction with regional activation needs.
  • Solid knowledge of social platforms and digital formats such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Glassdoor, YouTube, TikTok, and career websites.
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence people across functions without formal authority.
  • Ability to adapt content to platform-specific best practices in order to improve engagement, reach, and results.
  • Practical understanding of social media analytics and performance measurement to guide content decisions.
  • Preferred background includes editorial or content leadership in a multinational company or global brand.
  • Preferred experience in building and scaling content systems or editorial franchises.
  • Preferred exposure to communications for frontline or blue-collar audiences.
  • Preferred master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or Digital Strategy.
  • Preferred experience with paid media, programmatic advertising, or sponsored employer brand content.
  • Preferred background in advertising, branding, or digital marketing agencies.
