Position Overview
King Abdulaziz Endowment for Al-Ain Al-Azizia (KAEAA) is searching for a General Director of Digital Transformation to spearhead the creation and growth of the Digital Transformation General Department. This leader will be responsible for shaping and implementing the organization's digital strategy, crafting the digital roadmap, and supervising enterprise-wide digital ventures to boost operational effectiveness, encourage innovation, and fulfill the organization's strategic missions.
Key Responsibilities
- Form and evolve the Digital Transformation General Department along with its operational model.
- Create and roll out the Digital Transformation Strategy ensuring alignment with the organization’s overall goals.
- Oversee the Digital Transformation Roadmap, driving digital projects and programs aimed at attaining strategic targets.
- Govern digital initiatives by formulating policies, standards, and frameworks, and ensuring their enforcement.
- Promote innovation, manage change, enhance business processes, and lead organizational transformation to improve efficiency.
- Steer the organization's technology infrastructure including enterprise applications, analytics, IT services, cybersecurity, ensuring seamless integration across technology areas.
- Manage budgets, investments, contracts, and strategic partnerships efficiently to optimize resource use.
- Track and analyze KPIs, evaluate digital maturity, and advise executive leadership accordingly.
- Ensure adherence to regulations and frameworks from the Digital Government Authority (DGA), National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA), Saudi Data & AI Authority (SDAIA), and related regulatory bodies.
Qualifications and Experience
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related disciplines is required; a Master’s degree is considered an advantage.
- At least 10 years of experience in digital transformation or information technology, with leadership roles included.
- Proven track record of driving full lifecycle digital transformation projects from planning to business results.
- Experience establishing or developing Digital Transformation or IT departments.
- Previous roles in government or semi-government organizations.
- Competency in portfolio and strategic program management, budgeting, contract and vendor management.
- Deep understanding of digital governance, project delivery, enterprise systems, data analytics, artificial intelligence, IT infrastructure, ITSM, and cybersecurity.

- The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF)
- Control Objectives for Information and Related Technologies (COBIT)
- Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
- Prosci Change Management Certification
- Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT)
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer, Lead Auditor or equivalent
