Job description

Role overview

To be shortlisted, candidates must have experience with Python programming language for 1CP2 02.

Responsibilities

  • Apply the mark scheme carefully and consistently so that marking standards remain uniform.
  • Send required samples to the Team Leader at the specified checkpoints.
  • Complete marking within the required milestones and deadlines.
  • Finish all administrative tasks exactly as instructed.

Experience and qualifications

  • At least one academic year of teaching experience, gained within the last 8 years and within the relevant qualification and subject area.
  • A degree or an equivalent qualification.
  • Qualified teacher status.
  • Practical experience with Python.

Competencies

  • Ability to remain effective when working under pressure.
  • Strong time management and deadline-focused working style.
  • Excellent subject expertise to interpret and apply the mark scheme accurately.

Additional information

The marking window runs from May through July. Training for examiner marking will be delivered between May and June.
