About the Role
This remote contract opportunity is for a Special Education Expert who will help assess and improve AI-generated content used in special education workflows. The work supports a San Francisco-based company that connects experienced creative and technical professionals with AI research teams.
What You’ll Do
- Review AI outputs connected to individualized education program goal writing, accommodation guidance, and behavior intervention planning.
- Build realistic case scenarios drawn from everyday special education work, including IEP meeting notes and student progress tracking.
- Label, verify, and organize data across special education scenarios while keeping alignment with IDEA and related regulations.
- Share structured feedback on how accurately the AI reflects federal and state special education rules as well as evidence-based intervention practices.
- Work asynchronously with research teams to improve evaluation methods for special education AI systems.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience in special education.
- Experience in classroom special education, IEP coordination, or applied behavior analysis.
- Ability to think analytically and turn individualized support processes into structured evaluation tasks.
- Strong written communication skills and a careful eye for detail.
- Preferred credentials include BCBA certification, special education teaching licensure, or school psychologist certification.
Compensation
Payment is listed at $850 to $1,000 for each completed task. The role also includes a weekly bonus for strong performance, and top performers may later be moved to an hourly pay arrangement.
