Job description
Role Overview
As a Guest Service Representative at The Abu Dhabi EDITION, you will do much more than handle arrival and departure formalities. The role is centered on shaping a guest experience that feels polished, personal, and memorable from start to finish. You will support visitors throughout their stay, step in where needed, manage day-to-day service tasks, and help create a seamless hotel experience. You may also provide local insights and handle operational duties so that every interaction feels part of the overall stay.
Key Duties
- Support guests with check-in, check-out, and other front desk needs as part of a broader guest experience.
- Take initiative in handling service requests and operational requirements during the stay.
- Prepare and complete reports and other assigned administrative tasks.
- Share helpful information about the local area when appropriate.
- Maintain a safe and orderly work environment while following all company procedures.
- Protect company property and uphold required quality standards at all times.
- Present a professional appearance and communicate in a polished, courteous manner.
- Stay mobile and ready to perform hands-on tasks, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing items up to 10 pounds without assistance.
- Carry out any other reasonable duties as assigned to support guests and business operations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- No prior related work experience is required.
- No supervisory background is needed.
- No license or certification is required.
- Ability to remain on your feet and move around for extended periods.
- Ability to complete physical tasks involving objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
- Commitment to confidentiality, policy compliance, professionalism, and quality service.
