Job description
Position Overview
The Lifestyle Attendant is responsible for promptly responding to guest needs and requests, coordinating with relevant hotel departments to ensure full guest satisfaction. Duties include supplying and transporting service carts to designated areas, entering guest rooms following proper procedures, replenishing guest supplies, delivering VIP amenities, and removing trash and used room service items. The attendant must verify that all room appliances are intact and functional, tidy up desks, furniture, and appliances, and assess cleanliness to inform Housekeeping of any required tasks such as linen changes or vacuuming.
Additional Services
Upon guest requests, lifestyle services including packing/unpacking, pressing and ironing clothes, shoe shining, food and beverage delivery and setup, and workout arrangements must be provided.
Compliance and Safety
Candidates must adhere strictly to all company safety and security policies, report any maintenance issues, hazards, accidents, or injuries, complete required safety training and certifications, and handle hazardous materials appropriately. A professional and tidy uniform and appearance are mandatory, alongside maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
Guest Interaction
Attendants will welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipate their needs, assist guests with disabilities, and express genuine appreciation. Communication must remain clear and professional. Team collaboration to achieve common goals is expected. Quality standards and expectations must be upheld consistently throughout the service.
Physical Requirements
The role requires moving objects weighing up to 25 pounds independently and heavier with assistance, maneuvering loaded carts on uneven or sloped surfaces, and performing repetitive motion tasks such as bending, twisting, stooping, standing, sitting, kneeling, walking throughout shifts. Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination are essential for handling objects of different sizes and weights.
Qualifications
- No educational diploma or related work experience is necessary.
- Supervisory experience is not required.
- No certifications or licenses are mandatory.
