MiniBar Refreshment Center Attendant Leader

Position Overview

This role entails leading the team responsible for managing the Mini Bar and Refreshment Centers. Duties include opening and closing the centers, ensuring all necessary supplies and equipment are prepared and cleaned, and securing the facilities. The goal is to enhance the guest experience by maintaining well-stocked and pristine in-room refreshment centers.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Guide and supervise the team of Mini Bar/Refreshment Center Attendants.
• Oversee opening and closing routines such as setup, cleaning, and locking of doors.
• Conduct inventory checks of refreshments, in-room accessories, and promotional items; replenish stock as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and visual appeal of each refreshment center.
• Record sales data using computer systems and restock supplies following instructions.
• Monitor product availability, expiration, and inventory levels to avoid stock shortages.
• Assign guest rooms to attendants via software and ensure communication of attendees’ notes to management.
• Prepare daily inventory lists, organize restocking carts, and deliver to designated floors.
• Place emergency product orders with suppliers if needed.
• Handle guest requests by directing them appropriately within the team.
• Communicate operational issues regarding refreshment centers to hotel management.
• Serve as a role model and mentor by working alongside team members on job tasks.
• Assist management in defining and communicating goals, performance standards, schedules, and deadlines to team members.
• Foster teamwork among staff to deliver optimal guest service.
• Adhere to company safety and security policies, report hazards or incidents, and complete required safety training.
• Maintain professional appearance and confidentiality of company information.
• Welcome and interact with guests professionally, anticipating and addressing their service needs while showing genuine appreciation.
• Ensure quality standards are consistently met.
• Promote positive working relationships and actively listen to employee concerns.
• Communicate clearly and professionally.
• Be physically able to stand, sit, walk, lift objects up to 25 pounds, maneuver in confined spaces, and perform other reasonable tasks as assigned.

Qualifications and Preferences

• Minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• At least two years of relevant work experience in a related role.
• No prior supervisory experience required.
• Licenses or certifications are not required.
