Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Foundry Operator to join our team at Marmara Metal Refinery FZE. The successful candidate will manage induction melting furnaces and casting machines to produce premium gold and silver bars, granules, and other precious metal products while adhering to stringent quality and safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Operate induction melting furnaces for processing gold and silver.
- Carry out melting, alloying, casting, and pouring operations with precision.
- Use vacuum casting and equipment for bar production effectively.
- Constantly monitor furnace temperatures and key production parameters.
- Produce high-quality gold and silver bars, granules, and cast items according to required specifications.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and report any maintenance needs promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities.
- Strictly follow refinery safety protocols and quality control procedures.
- Keep the production area clean, organized, and safe at all times.
- Contribute to ongoing process improvements within the production team.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Prior experience working in a precious metals refinery or foundry environment is essential.
- Proficient in operating induction furnaces and casting equipment.
- Strong knowledge of precious metal production workflows.
- Capability to interpret production instructions and comply with standard operating procedures.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts when needed.
- This role requires physical presence at the workplace.
