Job description
About the Opportunity
This role sits at the intersection of sales, growth, and go-to-market strategy for an AI company focused on strategic finance. The business supports investment banks, private equity firms, and hedge funds, and it already has substantial traction, including a waitlist of more than 10,000 alongside active pilots and ongoing discussions with major financial institutions.
The position is based in New York City and is fully in person, with a five-day office schedule. Compensation includes a $200K base salary, with on-target earnings reaching up to $400K, plus equity. The exact structure can vary depending on seniority.
This is a founding go-to-market position with scope that can be shaped around the successful candidate’s strengths. Depending on experience, the role may skew more toward direct selling or more toward go-to-market operations and strategy. It offers the opportunity to work closely with the founding team in a lean, fast-paced environment and help define how the company grows.
What You'll Do
- Lead marketing, branding, and growth initiatives, including converting a large existing waitlist into active customers.
- Present the product through demos for investment banks, private equity firms, and hedge funds.
- Manage client relationships throughout pilots and act as the main day-to-day contact.
- Work with the team to refine the product using feedback gathered from customers and prospects.
- Support broader go-to-market planning and operational execution as the company expands.
What We're Looking For
- A warm, confident communicator who can quickly understand and explain technical ideas.
- Strong interest in startups and real enthusiasm for the product and mission.
- Comfortable handling client conversations and thinking clearly in fast-moving, high-pressure settings.
- A finance or relationship-management background is especially helpful for earlier-career candidates; more senior applicants may qualify through strong, relevant sales experience even without direct finance exposure.
- Preferred experience includes investment banking, private equity, or selling into financial institutions.
Work Environment
The role is based onsite in New York, NY, with in-person work required five days a week. The company operates in the AI for financial services space and offers the chance to join early and help shape its go-to-market motion.
