Food Counter Attendant

Overview

This role involves working on-site at the physical location and supporting various tasks typical of a food counter attendant in a fast-food environment. This position does not allow remote work and requires dedication to maintaining service standards and cleanliness.

Languages & Education

• Proficiency in English.
• Completion of secondary (high) school.

Experience

No prior experience is required; training will be provided.

Primary Responsibilities

• Deliver clean dishes, utensils, and other items to serving zones and set tables accordingly.
• Clear tables, trays, and seating areas, ensuring cleanliness.
• Hand wash and sanitize dishes and kitchenware.
• Maintain accurate records of food quantities utilized.
• Package food items for take-out orders.
• Portion and wrap food items appropriately.
• Prepare, heat, and complete simple food recipes.
• Serve customers at the service counters or buffet stations.
• Stock inventory such as refrigerators and salad bars.
• Take and record customer orders efficiently.
• Clean and sanitize all kitchen surfaces, cupboards, storage spaces, appliances, and equipment.
• Remove kitchen waste and trash regularly.
• Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain hygiene standards.
• Wash, peel, and cut fruits and vegetables as needed.
