Job Overview
This position as a Food Counter Attendant involves preparing, serving, and maintaining cleanliness within a dynamic food service setting. No prior education or specific certifications are necessary, as comprehensive training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize equipment including dishwasher mats, carts, and trash disposal units.
- Clear and clean dining areas, including tables, trays, and chairs.
- Store dishes appropriately after cleaning.
- Wash dishes and kitchen items manually.
- Package and wrap take-out food items with care.
- Prepare, heat, and finalize simple food items as needed.
- Accept and process customer orders professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen spaces, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
- Receive deliveries, unpack, and correctly store supplies in designated refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and storage units.
- Dispose of kitchen garbage properly and maintain waste areas.
- Perform floor maintenance tasks such as sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing.
Safety, Security, and Work Conditions
- Must be bondable, ensuring trustworthiness.
- Own transportation is required for commuting.
- The role is physically demanding and situated in a fast-paced environment.
- Extended standing periods and ability to work effectively under pressure are essential.
