About the Opportunity
JD Sports' flagship store at Mid City offers a dynamic, high-energy environment where retail leadership truly accelerates. Operating with over 80 team members and multiple management layers, this location experiences higher foot traffic and volume than typical stores. This role is designed for leaders who thrive in a fast-paced setting and are eager to develop and manage larger teams while working alongside senior leadership.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a sizable team of 80+ employees across several leadership levels.
- Drive operational excellence by setting standards for store performance and customer service.
- Navigate and manage complex team structures to achieve high productivity.
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership to uphold flagship store standards and inspire other locations.
Candidate Profile
- At least three years of leadership experience in a flagship or high-volume retail store environment.
- Demonstrated capability to lead, coach, and develop multiple layers of store management.
- Strong operational knowledge including inventory management and visual merchandising.
- A proactive approach, leading by example to foster team engagement and drive results.
- Passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences in a fast-moving, busy retail setting.
