Role overview

This part-time, on-site position is for a meticulous and analytical finance research professional who will help gather, organize, and interpret financial, economic, and market information. The work supports financial analysis, investment evaluation, and wider business planning by turning data into clear, decision-useful insights.

What you'll do

  • Collect, structure, and review financial, market, economic, and industry data from primary and secondary sources.
  • Assist with investment and financial research using documents such as financial statements, market databases, industry reports, and macroeconomic indicators.
  • Check datasets for accuracy, consistency, and completeness before they are used in analysis.
  • Carry out initial financial analysis and support valuation and benchmarking tasks.
  • Monitor market movements, industry developments, and economic trends to identify relevant updates.
  • Prepare concise summaries, reports, dashboards, charts, and presentation materials for internal stakeholders.
  • Support the maintenance and improvement of research databases, data quality practices, and analytical workflows.
  • Work with analysts, finance teams, and other stakeholders to help deliver research projects on time.

What we're looking for

  • A bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a closely related field.
  • Strong interest in financial markets, investment research, and economic analysis.
  • Exposure to financial statements, valuation concepts, and basic financial modeling is helpful.
  • Understanding of macroeconomics, capital markets, and industry research methods is an advantage.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with financial databases, analytics platforms, or data visualization tools is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret and arrange financial and economic information accurately.
  • Professionalism, integrity, and respect for confidentiality.
