Job description
About the Company
Hims & Hers is a health and wellness platform focused on making care simpler, more personal, and easier to access. The company aims to improve outcomes by putting the customer first and offering affordable, accessible support from diagnosis through treatment and delivery. It is a public company listed on the NYSE under the ticker symbol HIMS.
Role Overview
The company is seeking a Financial Analyst to join its Strategic Finance team within FP&A. In this role, you will support consolidated planning and reporting, help maintain key financial models, contribute to materials used by executive leadership and the Board, and work with partners across FP&A to support forecasting. The position involves working with guidance from experienced teammates, with your work reviewed as you build expertise and take on more responsibility over time.
What You Will Do
- Assist in building and maintaining parts of the consolidated financial model for the annual operating plan, long-range plan, and monthly forecast processes.
- Support forecast-cycle tasks such as collecting inputs, updating models, and analyzing variances that roll into senior leadership reporting.
- Help prepare finance deliverables for leadership meetings, including the Weekly Business Review, monthly OpEx review, and quarterly Board and Audit Committee materials.
- Develop variance analyses that clearly explain the drivers behind actual results versus plan and forecast at both consolidated and segment levels.
- Work with category, marketing, and operations finance teams to gather, validate, and combine inputs into a unified company view.
- Create models from the ground up to address business questions or solve specific problems.
- Look for ways to improve planning and reporting processes through AI, automation, and better systems to reduce manual work and improve analysis quality.
- Handle ad hoc analyses, financial projects, and presentation work for finance leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or an equivalent background through experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in analytical finance roles such as FP&A, strategic finance, investment banking, or consulting.
- Strong financial modeling ability, including building multi-scenario P&Ls and models from scratch.
- Comfort working with large datasets and performing data manipulation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to turn analysis into structured business narratives.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities at once.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in investment banking or experience at a high-growth company.
- Exposure to public-company reporting processes such as Board, Audit Committee, earnings, or guidance cycles.
- Experience with subscription businesses, acquisition marketing metrics, and lifetime value concepts.
- Familiarity with using AI and automation to improve finance workflows.
Benefits
- Competitive pay plus equity for full-time employees.
- Unlimited paid time off, company holidays, and quarterly mental health days.
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, along with parental leave.
- Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP).
- 401(k) plan with employer matching.
- Offsite team retreats.
