Role Overview

We are inviting applications for an Interim Finance Transformation Manager role on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave, focusing on the Finance function's Tax and Treasury areas. This role blends practical delivery, process enhancements, and robust stakeholder engagement.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead the PMO efforts for ongoing tax compliance ensuring all statutory and regulatory obligations are met with precision and timeliness.
• Collaborate closely with the Tax Manager to maintain visibility, continuity, and governance throughout tax compliance operations during transformation projects.
• Help design and roll out upgraded tax reporting processes, including exploring automation potentials and AI-driven enhancements for recurring outputs.
• Monitor and report on progress, risks, dependencies, and action items across tax compliance projects, escalating concerns proactively.
• Engage with internal stakeholders and external tax advisors, including PwC, to address complex and ad hoc tax matters effectively.
• Develop detailed background documents, options analyses, and recommendations to guide senior Finance leadership on emerging tax issues.
• Coordinate collaboration among Finance teams and external consultants to ensure consistent communication and sound decision-making.
• Contribute to establishing a centralized Treasury function in partnership with the Treasury Manager by supporting policy development, governance, controls, and reporting frameworks.
• Map current treasury activities, identify process gaps, and recommend enhancements toward a future-state operating model.
• Champion process simplification, standardization, and automation efforts across tax and treasury workflows.
• Support change management initiatives to embed new procedures, controls, and tools while ensuring clear communication of benefits and stakeholder adoption.
• Provide hands-on support balancing transformation deliverables with day-to-day financial operations.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Demonstrated expertise in Finance transformation, with relevant experience spanning tax compliance, treasury, or finance operations.
• Proven success in managing multifaceted workstreams and engaging diverse stakeholders effectively, particularly in interim or project-based settings.
• Skilled in partnering with external advisors and preparing clear, concise communication materials for senior-level stakeholders.
• In-depth knowledge of process improvement methodologies, control environments, governance structures, and operating model frameworks.
• Adept at navigating ambiguity, structuring workstreams, and shifting between high-level strategic design and practical implementation rapidly.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical problem-solving capabilities.

Additional Information

This full-time role is based onsite in London. Candidates should be comfortable with potential global travel to support UK and European client engagements.
