About the Role
We are seeking a senior leader to spearhead our CFO and Finance transformation initiatives in New Zealand, focusing on reshaping the finance function through next-generation capabilities such as FP&A transformation, enterprise performance management, and AI-driven finance.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor to CFOs and senior finance leaders, guiding enterprise-wide finance strategies and transformation roadmaps.
- Lead C-suite discussions on performance metrics, cost optimization, and strategic decision-making.
- Drive the end-to-end reinvention of FP&A processes, including driver-based planning, scenario modelling, integrated business planning, and performance frameworks.
- Enhance forecast accuracy, speed of decision-making, and business insights.
- Manage large-scale finance transformation programs that align process, technology, data, and operating model changes.
- Promote adoption of modern finance technologies, including AI and automation.
- Build and grow Finance Reinvention capabilities within New Zealand by collaborating with strategy, technology, and operations teams.
- Lead commercial efforts by originating, shaping, and securing finance transformation opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with CFOs and executives.
Required Experience and Skills
- Extensive experience in finance transformation and providing advisory services to CFOs.
- Strong expertise in FP&A and enterprise performance management.
- Proven leadership in managing large, complex transformation programs.
- Comprehensive understanding of modern finance operating models and digital finance solutions.
- Hands-on experience with ERP and planning systems such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, and Anaplan.
- Capability to operate effectively at both strategic and execution levels.
