Job description
Role overview
This is a short-term, paid consulting engagement for seasoned treasury and capital-markets specialists. The work is centered on sharing practical, real-world knowledge for an AI Marketplace project, not on completing preparatory work or joining a permanent team.
We are looking for U.S.-based professionals with direct experience in treasury risk, debt, investments, and hedging. The assignment is a one-time recorded interview conducted remotely on a contract basis.
Compensation and format
The estimated rate is $145 per hour, prorated for a 30-minute task. Participation is project-based, and the schedule can be managed independently.
You will complete an approximately 30-minute AI-led video interview in which you describe how you perform your work in practice, using specific examples and detailed explanations.
Core topics covered in the interview
- Managing surplus cash investments in line with policy, credit limits, yield targets, maturity profile, and safety requirements
- Handling debt facilities, including drawdowns, repayments, maturities, refinancing, covenant monitoring, and portfolio reporting
- Recognizing foreign exchange and interest-rate exposures, setting hedge ratios, weighing costs and benefits, selecting counterparties, and obtaining approvals
- Working with accounting on hedge accounting inputs such as designation, effectiveness testing, and mark-to-market review
The discussion will focus on practical workflows such as investment allocation, debt management, exposure identification, hedge execution, policy adherence, mark-to-market review, and portfolio reporting.
Candidate profile
Applicants should be able to walk through these processes clearly, step by step, from their own professional experience and respond to interview prompts with depth and confidence.
Suitable backgrounds include treasury risk management, corporate treasury, debt capital markets, investment portfolio management, FX and interest-rate hedging, or corporate finance.
Additional information
This engagement is limited to experts based in the United States. It is a remote opportunity, and selected participants will use their own tools to complete the interview. The arrangement is not exclusive, so participants may take part in other opportunities as well.
After completion, your video recording and transcript, along with AI-generated insights, will be shared with the internal research team and AI lab partner. The material will be used to build a structured task list for the profession and to support AI model improvement.
